Delivery Information

UK Delivery
1.1 We provide free UK Standard Delivery for all orders.  Express Delivery will incur a charge of £4.50.
1.2 Our simple flat rate shipping options:

  • Standard Delivery: Free - via Royal Mail 2nd class; delivery aim 2-3 business days (excluding holidays)

  • Express Delivery: £4.50 - via Royal Mail Tracked 24; delivery aim next business day (excluding holidays)

1.3 We use Royal Mail for the vast majority of our deliveries.  In cases where the order is over 2kg we may use a courier.
1.4 Please be aware that deliveries to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man may be subject to delays due to Customs checks.  

1.5 Please be aware that deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands (postcodes: PH22, PH33, PH41, PA34; IV1-IV5, IV11, IV13, IV15, IV17, IV19, IV26, IV40, IV52, IV63; KW16; HS2; ZE1) may take additional time regardless of the service chosen.

UK Collection
2.1 If you live nearby to our office, or are visiting the area, you are welcome to collect your order free of charge.
2.2 After placing your order and selecting local pick-up at the checkout stage, your order will be prepared and will usually be ready for pick-up within 1 to 2 business days (excluding holidays).  Please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time for collection. 

International Delivery 
3.1 We offer international shipping on a case-by-case basis as there is so much variability in cost depending on location and the size/weight of the order.  Please contact us with your order for a bespoke quote.
3.2 Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Quince Tree Press is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.  Please contact your local Customs Office for further information.  
3.3 If these charges are unpaid, your order may be returned to us and we will be unable to refund shipping costs.  There may also be costs associated with the return to us, which will be deducted from any refund value.  In certain situations your order may be destroyed by Customs if duties and taxes are not paid.  In this instance, we cannot refund product or shipping costs for these reasons.

General Shipping Policy
4.1 Order processing times are separate from delivery times. We aim to process all orders within 1 to 2 business days (excluding holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 
4.2 We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure order processing and delivery times are met, but cannot be held responsible for despatched parcels delayed by third parties, for example due to poor weather conditions or high volume of orders that are outside of our control.
4.3 Shipping to PO boxes is subject to the Royal Mail medium parcel limitations on size and weight.
4.4 If you haven’t received your order within 10 business days (excluding holidays) of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
4.5 In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.  We address these on a case-by-case basis and will work towards a satisfactory solution with you.
